Prerequisites

DEEP Research People requires both Include Current Officers and DEEP Research Company to be selected. The company enrichment discovers company domains, which dramatically improves person matching accuracy.

What data is added?

DEEP Research People adds 13 new columns to your officers.csv file:

Social Profiles

  • linkedin_url - Officer's LinkedIn profile
  • photo_url - Profile photo URL
  • twitter_url - Twitter/X profile
  • facebook_url - Facebook profile
  • github_url - GitHub profile (for technical roles)

Professional Information

  • headline - LinkedIn headline or professional summary
  • industry - Industry classification
  • current_job_title - Current job title

Background

  • education - Educational history (schools, degrees, majors)
  • skills - Professional skills and competencies
  • employment_history - Previous employers and roles

Match Quality

  • person_enrichment_status - Status: matched, not_found, skipped_corporate, error
  • person_enrichment_confidence - Match confidence score (1-10)

Data quality & coverage

Important: Match quality varies significantly

Person matching is more challenging than company matching. Officers with limited online presence, common names, or those who've changed roles may not match correctly. Always verify critical data before use.

Match rates

Match rates depend heavily on whether company domains are available:

  • With company domain: 60-80% match rate (domain narrows the search)
  • Without company domain: 30-50% match rate (name-only matching)
  • Corporate officers: 0% (corporate entities are skipped)

This is why DEEP Research Company is required - the domain discovery step significantly improves person matching accuracy.

Factors affecting match quality

  • Common names: "John Smith" may match incorrectly to a different person
  • Name variations: Companies House may have "JAMES" while LinkedIn has "Jim"
  • Limited online presence: Officers without LinkedIn profiles won't match
  • Role changes: If the officer has moved companies, the match may show outdated data
  • Private profiles: Some LinkedIn data may not be accessible

Corporate officers

Officers that are companies (corporate directors/secretaries) are automatically skipped during enrichment. They will have person_enrichment_status: skipped_corporate and empty enrichment columns.

Data sources

Person enrichment data is aggregated from:

  • LinkedIn profiles
  • Professional networks and databases
  • Public resumes and portfolios
  • Company websites and team pages

Performance notes

Person enrichment is slower than company enrichment because each officer requires individual API calls:

  • 100 officers: ~2-3 minutes
  • 1,000 officers: ~15-25 minutes
  • 10,000 officers: ~2-4 hours

For exports with many officers, processing will happen in the background. You'll receive an email when your export is ready.

Pricing

DEEP Research People adds +30% to your base export price.

Example with all addons:

  • Base export (1,000 companies): £10.00
  • DEEP Research Company (+25%): £2.50
  • DEEP Research People (+30%): £3.00
  • Include Current Officers (+20%): £2.00
  • Total: £17.50

Note: DEEP Research People requires both Include Current Officers and DEEP Research Company, so the effective minimum for person enrichment is base + 75% (25% company + 30% people + 20% officers).

Officers CSV columns (with enrichment)

When DEEP Research People is enabled, your officers.csv will contain these columns:

Base columns (from Companies House)

  • company_number, company_name
  • person_number, title, forenames, surname, honours
  • appointment_type, appointment_date, resignation_date
  • nationality, occupation, is_corporate

Enrichment columns (from DEEP Research)

  • linkedin_url, photo_url, twitter_url, facebook_url, github_url
  • headline, industry, current_job_title
  • education, skills, employment_history
  • person_enrichment_status, person_enrichment_confidence
